Character Overview
Lupa is a 5-star fusion character and uses a Broadblade
Character Mechanism
Lupa serves as the cornerstone of Fusion teams, and while her skill descriptions contain numerous terms (her Resonance Skill alone has six variations), her actual gameplay is quite straightforward. Whether you have her Intro Skill available or not, the basic rotation involves pressing the Resonance Skill twice, using her Resonance Liberation, then continuously attacking until you see the Resonance Skill icon light up with a red circle – at which point you press the Resonance Skill twice again.
Forte Circuit Energy – Wolflame & Wolfaith
The foundation of Lupa’s rotation lies in her Forte Circuit Energy called Wolflame, which has a maximum capacity of 100 points divided into two gauges of 50 points each. When you accumulate one full gauge (50 points), Lupa becomes “ignited.” Wolflame is generated through her Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill.
Lupa’s Basic Attack sequence consists of four parts: two horizontal slashes (first hit), a spinning slash (second hit), a sliding gunspin (third hit), and an overhead diagonal slash (fourth hit). If you pause briefly after the third hit until seeing a white flash, then press attack again, she’ll transition into a Mid-air Attack sequence where she dual-wields her weapons with claw-like effects: an upward slash (first hit), a spinning horizontal slash (second hit), and a downward smash (third hit). Holding attack during these aerial moves executes a Mid-air Attack – a charged sweeping dive that summons three wolf heads, followed by a leaping slash (called Starfall) if you press attack again.
With 50 Wolflame points, holding attack executes Wolf’s Gnawing, converting that 50-point gauge into a Wolfaith mark (visible as a wolf head on the gauge). With both a Wolfaith and another 50 Wolflame (total 100 points), you can follow Wolf’s Gnawing with Wolf’s Claw by pressing attack again. This dual Heavy Attack sequence is standard after filling both gauges.
An alternative way to trigger this is when Lupa’s third Mid-air Attack transforms into Firestrike (consuming 50 Wolflame to create a Wolfaith) if you have at least one gauge filled, where she summons six spears for a downward thrust. Landing lets you immediately follow up with Wolf’s Claw.
When Lupa accumulates two Wolfaiths, her Resonance Skill icon changes appearance and glows red – activating it now consumes both marks to unleash Dance with the Wolf (six fiery explosions). During Resonance Liberation, this becomes Enhanced Dance with the Wolf (same effect but stronger damage and more Concerto Energy). This skill enables Lupa to perform one assistance attack within 8 seconds when teammates use their Resonance Liberations (note this is distinct from Coordinated Attacks).
To efficiently acquire Wolflame, the Resonance Liberation provides an immediate 100 Wolflame and 500% generation boost (6x speed), while transforming the Resonance Skill into Foebreaker (automatically triggered by attacking during the ultimate). Using Foebreaker puts Lupa airborne – continuing to attack executes two Mid-air Attacks before the enhanced generation fills your gauges, converting the third aerial hit into Firestrike. Following up with attack automatically performs Wolf’s Claw, creating two Wolfaith marks to unlock Enhanced Dance with the Wolf (indicated by the red skill icon) – using it fills Concerto Energy for character switching.
Pack Hunt
Resonance Liberation also grants two powerful team buffs: Pack Hunt and Glory. Pack Hunt provides three automatic “Flee” effects when hit (counting as dodges if grounded) and increases Fusion damage by 10% (20% with three Fusion characters). It also grants stacking ATK bonuses (starting at +6%, increasing by 6% per Intro Skill use up to +18%) – at maximum stacks, Lupa enters Wild Hunt state, upgrading her Intro Skill to a powerful 900% multiplier Resonance Liberation-damage version.
Glory
Glory provides teamwide Fire RES penetration (3% per fire character, plus 6% bonus for three fire characters, totaling 15%). Her Resonance Skill primarily serves for extra damage and Concerto Energy – the first hit throws a spear to mark targets (8s duration), while the second hit deals 50% more damage to marked enemies. Note that like other characters’ skills, interrupting between the two hits cancels the second part. Killing marked targets resets the skill’s cooldown.
Lupa’s Outro Skill Buff
Finally, Lupa’s Outro Skill provides 20% Fusion Deepen and 25% Basic Attack Deepen buffs, informing her optimal team compositions.

Character Resonance Chain
S1
Lupa doesn’t lack Concerto Energy. The additional 10 points of Concerto Energy and interruption resistance from S1 are just bonuses. As for the 20% critical rate increase, this provides approximately a 10% damage boost for Lupa herself.
S2
Provides a 40% damage increase that benefits both Lupa and the entire team equally. The improvement is around 14% whether looking at individual or team performance.
S3
Doubles the multiplier of Lupa’s Enhanced Intro Skill, which is one of her core damage sources, resulting in a noticeable damage increase. Additionally, after using Resonance Liberation, the two buffs she gains – Pack Hunt and Glory – no longer have requirements based on the number of Fusion characters in the team and will always reach maximum value. S3 provides Lupa with approximately a 21% damage increase.
S4
Enhances another core damage skill – Enhanced Dance with the Wolf – by boosting its multiplier, resulting in roughly a 23% personal damage increase for Lupa.
S5
Offers a more modest improvement of about 3%.
S6
Brings significant changes: allows three core damage skills to ignore 30% of enemy defense, and using Resonance Skill now immediately refills Forte Circuit Energy enabling an additional Enhanced Dance with the Wolf. This alters her standard rotation. Furthermore, using Intro Skill no longer cancels the two buffs from her ultimate. If maintaining standard rotation, provides about 26% damage increase.
*When utilized Lupa as main DPS performing two Enhanced Dance with the Wolf skills, the improvement jumps to over 71.2% compared to S5.
